Just Purchased: List Of Questions

Hello,

I just purchased the Old Paper theme and updated my web-site with it and so far am loving it.  However, I do have a list of questions to further customize my page that I was hoping you could answer.  For reference, my web-site is http://www.festivalsnob.com

1. I want to remove the RSS Icon from the Small Bar.

2. I want to make “Festival Snobs” header text one line, not two. Is there a way to make text smaller to make it fit?

3. I do NOT want a “Featured Image” on my posts.  How do I set this option to “OFF”?  See example post here, where the image duplicates both above and below the post title. (I only want the image once BELOW the post title). Example: http://www.festivalsnob.com/rumors-bonnaroo-2015/

4. I’d like to add a “Search Bar” to the Small Menu bar at the top.

5. I’ve updated the color scheme from the Old Paper Options but even after I save my new color options, my website does not update.

6. I want to remove Excerpt Text from “Featured Posts” section.  I’ve updated this option but the text is still there.

7. I want to remove the yellow thumbtack box and comment counter from all article thumbnail images.

8. How do I customize what is displayed below the “Featured Posts” section on the homepage?  It looks like it’s just showing most recent posts, but I’d prefer to create sections for each of my catergories with a few of the latest posts from each category.

I’m sure I will think of more questions as I continue to play around.  I’ll reply to this thread if I am able to figure out any of my above questions on my own.  I appreciate your reponse.

9. Embedded YouTube videos are overlaying with the sidebar and going full width.  Example: http://www.festivalsnob.com/rock-in-rio-coming-to-las-vegas-in-2015/

UPDATE: I have fixed the YouTube issue on my own.  Had to go into my YouTube embed settings and select “Responsive Video Sizing”.

10. IE Compatibility seems to not be working.  I’ve attached an image of what my web-site looks like when viewed on Internet Explorer.  For reference, I am using Version: 9.0.8112.16421 and running Windows 7.

Thank you so much Marco for fixing the exercpt text and color scheme issues. I also see you were able to remove the Featured Photo in the my posts, thats awesome!

Now if only the “thumbtack/comment counter” box on the thumbnail images could be removed, as well as the IE compatability issues would be fixed I would be 100% happy 😉

For IE i’m sorry but seems to have a bug on css animations (damn, old and unefficiend browser 🙂 ), i’ll back soon if i have updates..

For featured photos what i can do? you would remove completely?
