Large gap between slider and slider dots on vertical iPad orientation

Hi Marco,
I was wondering if there was a bit of code that could fix a gap occurring between the “Slider” and the “dots” below slider. This doesn’t occur on iPhone 6+ and it doesn’t occur on computer screen. For me it is only occurring in the vertical orientation of an iPad 3. It doesn’t occur in the horizontal position of iPad 3.

I thought it was something with content used, but it is happening with the “Live Preview” of the Roma theme as well. Gap size is about the same height of slider.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just noticed that the right/left white dots with arrows inset on slider also shift to bottom of slider in this position.

Hi Marco,

Here are two screenshots from the iPad in vertical mode… these from the Roma theme… same thing is happening to my site.

You’ll see the “Dot Arrows” drop to bottom in slider. And then the large gap between content and slider.

In the other shot…. the search box is “jamming” up. The Font Awesome magnifying glass goes to next line.

It also seems the max number of items in the lower menu is five… anymore and they go to the next line behind content.

Float Right or Margin issue? I don’t know.

Hi Joel, i’m working on this BUG… this is a SLIDER BUG (Slick Slider), i’v writed this bug to developer….

Hi Marco,

The slider seems to be working now on the Envato “Live Preview,” but I noticed another thing that is happening with the “Top Menu.” And the search bar “Magnifying Glass.” They are getting bumped down to the nest line in the iPad vertical format. Forgive me if you were also talking about fixing this as part of the bug. I have included two screen shots.

You can choose from this options:

1) Set only 3 menu items
2) Reduce spaces between items
3) Reduce items size

For search box on ipad i see it well… see attached.
