Remove Date and Author

How do I remove the post date and author from everywhere? Widgets, categories, archives, etc.

For Featured Post on homepage you can remove author and date going to Oldpaper options -> Home page options

and set OFF this two fields:

– Show the Excerpt Author in the featured box

– Show the Excerpt Date in the featured box

For standard articles:

open part-textinfo.php file and remove these lines:

 <?php if( ( !is_page() and $iw_opt['single-author'] ) or ( is_page() and $iw_opt['page-author'] ) ) : ?>
		<li><?php the_author_posts_link() ?></li>
	<?php endif; ?>

I do have part-archive.php but I do not see the above code.

Are we all talking about the same theme? I see that Oldpaper is one of the other themes. This is for Medicals Wordpress theme (same as the thread I posted on)

I have attached two screens showing where and what I want to remove for date and author with yellow arrows. One screen is the homepage and the other is a post.

I manage to clear author, tag, cat in deleting the line in bold characters in the part-archive-php. It s not very professional I guess but it did the trick 🙂

I removed the indicated lines. This delete the author from the widgets only. I still have dates in widgets and the post bar that shows author/date/cat/comments. How do I remove the rest of this?

Urgent!

Now that I made this change, the category links in my menu bar are now dead links. I have put the deleted code back in, redone the menu, tried a new menu, emptied the cache, tried in a private browser and a different computer and the menu category links are still dead. Help! How do I fix this?
