Hi Marco,
Thank you for your reply.
The problem is occurring across operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and XP.
The IE version is 9, although I don’t know if newer versions are also failing.
Edited to properly identify screenshots:
The second attached screenshot shows what the user when the website fails to load,(again, this is intermittent- at times the website loads correctly).
The third screenshot shows the incorrectly loaded website in IE9.
The first attached screenshot shows how the website should look, from Firefox
The fourth attachment is a transcript of the Tech Help chat I had with GoDaddy (domain host) last Thursday, April 15. The result of this conversation was a temporary fix to the website in Firefox and Chrome, and the changes that created the strange website in IE9.Please let me know what other information I can provide you with to help resolve this problem.
Thanks,
Andrea-

You must be logged in to view attached files. To update the above query: I contacted the domain host (Go Daddy) and they were able to fix the loading problem in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. However, in Internet Explorer, the website (www.vicksburglibrary.org) is loading, but incorrectly. According to the tech support at Go Daddy, the problem is from custom plug-ins in the Old Paper theme.
Thanks again,

I would like to make the sidebar wider, if I need to, and also to control the layout of the second footer. Rather than have it forced into two boxes, I would like the option to have it in one.
Thanks,
Kristy
